Queens Tavern (also known as Queen’s Tavern) is a historic building in Durban, South Africa, located at 16 Stamford Hill Road (now also known as Mathews Meyiwa Road) in the Greyville area.

It was built in 1894 as a gentleman’s club and is recognized as the oldest licensed premises in Durban. The structure is a preserved link to the city’s colonial past, featuring elements like a foyer with a pressed steel ceiling, billiard room, and smoking room in its original design. It has been declared a national monument/heritage site.

Historically, it operated as a popular restaurant (especially known for curries) after restorations around 1973, and there’s even a local legend associating it with the origins of Durban’s iconic bunny chow. More recently, it has housed a secondhand goods retailer or similar businesses, integrated near or within the City View Shopping Centre area.
