The businesswoman is known for promoting the beauty of different countries when she visits. Her recent trip made us curious to know what attracts people to the island and what to expect when planning a trip there.

Mauritius is an island in the Indian Ocean, located about 1,100 nautical miles off the southeast coast of Africa, east of Madagascar. It is the largest island with several smaller islands including Rodrigues, Agaléga, and St. Brandon.

Boity described the place as a paradise whose beauty remains unchanged throughout the year. You can see beautiful trees along the sea with clear blue waters, white sand. World-class resorts on the coast, there are many places to visit on the island. The incredible cultural diversity is reflected in the delicious food – with a wide variety to choose from, including Chinese, Indian, and even African.

When planning your trip, remember to arrange a visa, most visitors get a 60-day stay for free.

When to visit: The best time to visit is between May and October, which is considered the period when the weather is at its best, with cool temperatures and little rain. November to April is when you can expect high temperatures and rain.

Things to do in Mauritius: Snorkeling, deep-sea fishing, hiking in the Black River Gorges National Park, and visiting the Chamarel waterfalls.

Languages spoken: English (official), French, and the native Mauritian Creole

Currency used: Mauritian Rupee (MUR).

Other things to note: It is recommended to rent a car to take you wherever you go, but there are also plenty of taxis that will pick you up directly from your hotel. Although Mauritius is considered a safe place, it is always a good idea to be vigilant and keep your belongings close at hand. Don’t forget to buy a cool towel, sunscreen and, most importantly, bug repellent.
