Members of the KZN Provincial Drugs and Firearms Unit executed a successful intelligence-driven raid on Tuesday, July 28, targeting a rented holiday resort apartment in Kingsburgh, south of Durban.
During the operation, police discovered and seized rock cocaine with an estimated street value exceeding R1 million, alongside processing equipment including a digital scale and two sealing machines.
Three male suspects, aged between 20 and 34, were arrested on scene. One individual attempted to flee during the raid but was quickly apprehended by officers. All three suspects face charges related to drug dealing and are expected to appear in the Amanzimtoti Magistrate’s Court shortly.
