The prestigious Hollywood bets Durban July horse race is eagerly awaited and will take place on 4 July this year at the Greyville Racecourse, Durban.
The race, which is full of fashion and entertainment, will also feature renowned artists who have confirmed their participation in the event.
Among those who will be performing is Zakhele Madida, also known as Zakes Bantwini, who made his name by winning a Grammy Award.
Speaking about his performance at the event, he said that he has hidden a stick in the hay for those who will be part of the Hollywoodbets Durban July.
“It’s always a pleasure to be home. I have hidden a stick in the hay for you at the Hollywoodbets Durban July. It will be a lot of fun, I hope you will all be there,” said Bantwini.
Other artists who will be performing include MiCasa, Will Rayz, Will Linley, Angel Mazibuko, Supreme 3 (Loyiso Bala, Lloyd Cele and Danny K), and Tamara Day.
Anita Elizabeth, wife of Eben Etzebeth, a player for the South African national rugby team, will sing the national anthem.
