Louis Botha Airport was the former name of the international airport that served Durban, South Africa
from 1951 to 2010. It was replaced by King Shaka International Airport, located about 60 km north of the city, due to its limited runway length for larger aircraft. The former Louis Botha Airport site is now earmarked for redevelopment into a mega container port.
