THE KwaZulu-Natal Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs Minister, Rev Thulasizwe Buthelezi, visited the Nazareth Church in Buhleni in Durban today to assess the situation after the church was hit by a landslide last week, injuring seven members of the church.
Before meeting the congregation, he first held a meeting with the leader of the church, Mr Mduduzi “Nyazi Lwezulu” Shembe. Rev Thulasizwe Buthelezi brought gifts of food, groceries and blankets to the congregation.
He said the purpose of the visit was because his department is addressing the situation of those affected by disasters. The Nazareth Church is on a month-long July service.
