• The Incident: About two weeks ago, a driver visiting the dealership refused to present his driver’s licence for standard security scanning. The driver shouted at Kabayi, boasting that he was a “millionaire” and telling Kabayi he was “cheap” and would never afford a BMW.
• Kabayi’s Reaction: Kabayi remained calm, composed, and professional throughout the interaction, explaining that scanning the licence was required procedure for security reasons.
• Public Support: The video went viral, drawing widespread praise for Kabayi’s composure. Following the public outrage and support, a group of concerned citizens raised over R30,000 for him.
• The Gift: Cybersecurity firm ScaryByte stepped in to buy Kabayi his first car—a BMW 1 Series—to recognize his professionalism and support security workers.

Kabayi shared that he forgave the driver and plans to use the R30,000 cash donation to expand his bakery business and give to charity.
